Jemma Leech has requested it be split between:

A City of Shared Stories is launched!
Spread the Word is very proud to announce the launch of the exciting new web project ‘A City Of Shared Stories’
Featuring over 1000 stories and poems about London, this online map of creative writing about London will continue to grow and grow.

Time Out: Write Up Your Street - Entries published online
Time Out: Write Up Your Street was a Spread the Word writing competition, challenging everyone to write a short piece of creative writing about their part of London.
All 1,600 entries have now been uploaded on to Spread the Word’s new website, A City of Shared Stories. Search by place, postcode or keyword to discover creative writing about your part of London.

Time Out: Write Up Your Street - Competition prizes awarded.
A prize giving ceremony took place at the Museum in Docklands to celebrate the fantastic writing the competition attracted and award the winning writers Foyles book tokens.
The winning pieces are featured in A City of Shared Stories.
